Piazza della Mostra

Piazza della Mostra in Trento is the existing open space at the foot of the most important monument of our region, the Buonconsiglio Castle. Already in the famous watercolor by the great German Renaissance painter Albrecht Dürer (1471-1528), this urban area is depicted, which, with the construction of the curtain of buildings on the side along Via del Suffragio, would become the "Contrada Todesca" so well represented in 19th-century depictions.
